Key Club International
As one of the oldest and largest service programs for high school students, it is a student-led organization whose goal is to teach leadership through servicing others!
Key Club International is a part of the Kiwanis International group, where each Key Club, in turn, is sponsored by a local Kiwanis Club. In 1925, the first key club was built in Sacramento, California, and since that time many more have been added. Key Clubs have also been formed in the Caribbean and future growth is promising. Every year, being led by the international officers, around two hundred or more new Key Clubs are added to this growing organization, but emphasis is on permanent, active clubs, rather than on mere numbers as such. With this criterion as a guide, Key Clubs can expect a steady, healthy growth for many years to come.
